Linde Roza (2000) explores the tension between holding on and letting go, how we attempt to grasp the moments of life, and how those moments continue to shift. What does the world look like when one is in love, angry, or overwhelmed? The order shifts.
For her, reassigning value to the layeredness of the everyday becomes both a formal and poetic act. It unfolds like a kind of play, one where these two forces collide, merge, and drift apart, like a path where encounters are gathered, carried forward, or left behind along the way.
Her research begins in the archive: fragments of everyday life, found objects, apology messages, documented routes and distances, measured spaces, memories, and feelings. What might appear disconnected at fi rst glance, she approaches as part of a larger network.
Within her work, collecting becomes a way of thinking. Objects are not approached as isolated forms, but as layered carriers. Through processes of arranging, repeating, listing, archiving, and performing, she examines how people construct meaning through gestures and material traces.
Her works often linger in the space between personal memory and shared recognition. Her practice frequently results in text, performance, installation, or assemblage; spatial constellations in which found
materials, language, movement, and accumulated fragments come together temporarily.
